The build process

Noah thought there was going to be more complicated pieces involved in building this roller coaster so was pleasantly surprised by finding just a load of sticks and cogs.

We first took time sorting all the pieces into piles, so when it came to the actual build we were a bit more organised.

We decided we would do it as a team, which was nice as Noah and myself rarely get a spare 5 minutes to ourselves and usually thats when I pick him up from his after school clubs as I'm on my own.

We spent a good two hours doing this, we even had to get daddy in to help, as we couldn't quite get the last few bits of track to work, and after realising we'd put a number 1 curve bit in the wrong place, it all easily got sorted.

The Instructions.

Whilst we were building the roller coaster Noah had the coaster car on charge, so that it was ready to zoom around once we were done.

We were all pretty impressed with how fast the coaster car went.
I was half expecting it to slowly find it's way around the track, but it went so fast that we all struggled to try and catch it when we wanted to turn it off!

After we knew it worked and none of the track was pinging off, we switched off the lights and all watched it glow in the dark.

Noah was very proud of the final build and couldn't wait to show it off to the others.
They all giggled with delight when the coaster car zoomed round and round and up and down.

The Roller coaster is built so that you can either have it standing tall or standing on its side.
Both ways work fantastically.

For additional builds you get a special code that you can enter on the K'nex website!

This would make a fantastic Christmas present!
Something for both little and big people to all enjoy!
