Two Weeks To Go ....

Yesterday we had our wedding rehearsal!!
I really can't believe that in two weeks time I'll no longer be a Miss!

I thought I'd share with you some of the planning and the little things I've been up to in preparation for the big day!

Found these in Next for £6 each... Perfect for putting by the cake!

I've had my make up trail and I've booked in to have a facial this week, then next week ill be having my eyebrows shaped and my nails done.
Hopefully I'll be having my hair trail done next Wednesday, my hair is the one thing that I'm really starting to worry about.

I'm sure once I've seen it done ill be able to relax a little!

I also re-tried my dress on the other day but because I couldn't get out to the bathroom mirror (the boys were all sat outside my room trying to see) I couldn't really see the dress properly and I started to worry it didn't actually look as nice as I thought it did!

So im popping out to B&Ms today to see if I can buy a full length mirror for the bedroom, I've been after a new one since our last one smashed so this is the perfect excuse to buy one.

My wedding ear tunnels.
I've been looking at a lot of Instagram weddings and Pinterest and starting to worry my wedding won't be as fancy or as amazing as the ones I'm seeing, but after reading an article on the Rock and Roll Bride Facebook group page I've given myself a slap and told myself my day will be fine as it will be what Jon and I want and not something I saw online that has been polished to perfection.

Me and Jon are far from perfect, and our wedding will be a reflection on us not someone else.

I've been spending a LOT of time browsing Not on the High Street website at all the wedding decor and getting rather carried away and then sending links to my mum and she's getting as carried away as I am, and ordering all sorts of things.

Things I'm not allowed to see, but things that are turning up on my door to tease me!

Noah tried on his wedding outfit and I nearly cried he looked so handsome and grown up in it!
It also made me think about dressing up the other 3 but then I quickly decided against as I know they would moan and whine about having to dress up in lovely things.

So they are sticking with Super Hero costumes!

Jon and I also got our wedding bands sorted .... Mine is a pretty little thing from Ernest Jones and he had his tattooed on, along with a nice surprise of my nickname!

I saw this on Facebook a little while ago and thought it would be fun for my Friday night girlie evening and whilst out in Next looking at waistcoats with Jon I saw it, so I had to grab it!!

Last but not least the only parcel that I have been allowed to open is my cake stand, and its very pretty and I can't wait to see my cake on it!

That's it really, I've probably missed out a load of stuff, but I'm sure ill write another post about the wedding before next week!

PJ Masks - Time To Be a Hero DVD

Into the Night to Save the Day!

Perfectly timed for Halloween fun, PJ Masks – Time to be a Hero features six fan-favourite episodes and follows the exciting adventures of Connor, Amaya and Greg.
The three friends attend school like everyone else, but when something goes awry in the city, they get ready for their mission.

Because ... Nighttime ... Is ... The ... Right ... Time ... To ...Fight ... Crime!

As day turns to night, the heroes put their pyjamas on and activate their animal amulets.
They magically transform into their dynamic superhero alter egos: Catboy, Owlette and Gekko and become the fantastic and unstoppable PJ Masks team.

The six action-packed adventures featured on PJ Masks – Time to be a Hero are:
  •  Speak UP, Gekko! When Romeo starts using Gekko’s voice for no good, Gekko has to get over his stage fright and get his voice back.
  • Catboy & Master Fang’s Sword Night Ninja has stolen Master Fang’s prized sword and Catboy wants it back, but he will have to learn not to let his anger get in the way first.
  • Catboy vs. Robo-Cat - Catboy has to get Amaya’s and Greg’s stolen superhero pajamas back from Romeo so they can transform into Owlette and Gekko and help him save the day . . . unless he learns that you don’t need superpowers to be a hero.
  • Owlette and the Giving Owl - Owlette’s prized ‘Giving Owl’ statue is stolen by Luna Girl to decorate her new headquarters. If Owlette doesn’t learn it’s better to give than receive, Catboy and Gekko could become trapped in Luna Girl’s newest HQ for good.
  • Catboy’s Flying Fiasco - When Catboy receives a scooter as a gift from an unknown aunt, something smells fishy. But when he can use it to fly, it’s too good to leave at home. Too bad that it’s really a “gift” from . . . Luna Girl!
  • Owlette and the Flash Flip Trip - Using his newest machine, Romeo erases all the stories from books and replaces them with pictures of himself. Rather than relying on her own skills, Owlette plans to use the moves of her favourite comic character, Flossy Flash, to save the day.

Ru amazingly sat down in front of the telly for the whole 72 minutes, without wanting to do anything else, which is extremely rare for him!
Wearing his PJ Mask pyjamas and with his little PJ Mask figures by his side he happily sat and watched episode after episode, using his figures to play along as he watched.

He loved being able to watch all of his favourite episodes at once.
His very favourite one was Catboy vs Robo Cat which we did had to watch on repeat all of Sunday afternoon.
Which worked out well as it meant the other boys got some peace to play the Wii in peace without Ru moaning at them!

A fantastic DVD for all PJ Mask fans, and a perfect stocking filler!

PJ Masks – Time to be a Hero will be available to download and on DVD from Monday 30th October 2017.

Ru loves anything car related so when offered to review this amazing track I knew I had to say yes!
He's always watching Hot Wheel Track videos on KidsTube, and hasn't actually got one himself, so I knew he would love it straight away.

Not only would Ru love it, the other 3 would as well.
A toy that they can all play together without too many fights!

A big mum win!!

Our first configuration.
Monsters!!

It didn't take long to assemble, the longest part was deciding which configuration to go for.
Ru decided we would try the first on in the book.

It seemed nice and simple and Ru helped me find the right bricks.

Once build, we set up the car monsters and took the track out into the hall way, as there wasn't anywhere for it in the kitchen.

As you can see it's rather long!
Perfect for getting that run up it needs to shoot across the bridge.

Ru loves it, and has been playing on it ever since it was placed down on the floor.
He's gone round the whole house collecting all the Hot Wheel cars to see which one is the fastest!

As I write this, he's sat in the hallway playing nicely with Oscar!
Which never happens
Trying to knock down the monsters and seeing who can zoom through the hole to the other side.

The blurry shadow in the air is the Hot Wheel car!
This would make a fab Christmas present!
Lots of fun competitions could be had on Christmas Day, seeing who is the fastest and who is the most awesomest stunt car!

Combine with other track and bricks for even more fun!
