Norman The Slug Who Saved Christmas • Book Review •

"Norman the slug is very excited when a huge sack of presents lands THWACK by his stocking!"

Sue Hendra is the wonderfully funny, award-winning author and illustrator of some of our favourite picture books, like Barry the Fish with Fingers and Norman the Slug with the Silly Shell.

Sue was hugely fortunate enough to hone her skills as an illustrator whilst she worked for the likes of Bloomsbury, Walker Books, Oxford University Press, Macmillan etc, illustrating and writing picture books. She has now been working as an illustrator and author for fifteen years and still loves it.

The boys really loved having Norman the slug who saved Christmas read to them, not only was it a great story it got us all feeling rather festive.

We are big fans of Sue Hendra and Barry the fish wish fingers and Supertato are some of our favourite bedtime reading books!

The twins have a bit of a thing for slugs and snails at the moment so Norman really was a hit!
They got really worried the children wouldn't receive their presents but when Norman set about saving the day they were over the moon. They loved Norman's slimy wrapping skills!
Boys and slime go hand in hand.

Noah enjoyed reading it to me before he got into bed, he has even asked if it can be part of his book library rather than being left in the twins room!

Norman the Slug who saved Christmas would be ideal for putting inside a Christmas Eve box to read before the kids go to bed or part of a book advent calendar,
(stay tuned to the blog to see me prepare the boys book advent calendar, in the next few days)
A great stocking filler,
Or it would make fab book just to read over the festive period.

If you fancy buying Norman the Slug who saved Christmas, why not head over to Amazon now!
